Missions at FBCC

Here's how you can get involved...

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 1:8 (ESV)

Children’s Hope Mission

This group exists to serve the needs of local foster children who have immediate needs as they are taken into the system. This group assembles materials like clothing, school supplies, stuffed animals, and Bibles to deliver to foster care agencies to deliver to children in need.

Families for Families

We are currently partnering with a local Christian foster care agency called families for families at supporting local Christian foster homes with resources like meals and date nights happening regularly at our church.

Single Mom’s Oil Change

Twice a year, we provide a completely free service at our church in an attempt to help serve single mother’s in our area. Each oil change we typically serve around 200 Mother’s with a free oil change, do basic service on their vehicle, feed them and their children breakfast, and share the Gospel with them.

Trunk or Treat

Each year, our church hosts a family-friendly alternative to Halloween to the community, and we service around 1500 people with candy, pop corn, cotton candy, games, bounce houses, and live worship and Gospel presentations.

Threads of Love

Threads of love is an organization built around making clothing for people in need in our community and also abroad through our global partnerships. From clothing Peruvian children to people in our community, threads of love cares for clothing those in need.

Grasp International

As a church, we help financially support Grasp International to reach Peru with the Gospel. Grasp’s mission is to save children from sex trafficking in the Amazon, and to train them up to be missionaries. Our church partners with them by sending missionaries, hosting local events, and supporting them financially with our funds.

International Mission Board

As Southern Baptists, we contribute a portion of our money to help sustain the largest mission sending organization in the world. We support our global missionaries with giving, give a special offering each Christmas to them, have them come speak every Christmas season, and will take trips with the organization

North American Mission Board

As Southern Baptists, we contribute a portion of our money to help grow North American Missions. We have a special fundraisers in the Easter season to support new church plants in unreached areas and we take domestic trips to do mercy ministries and evangelism through the serve tour and NAMB mission trips.

Woman’s Missionary Union

We have an active group of women in our congregation who love to serve the needs of our local community. This group organizes regular food drives for local school aged children, blood drives with the American Red Cross, and so many other great local ministries.
